• The final city hosts the Swoop Freestyle FAI World Championship Final

The Event

The World Championship series consists of several events, each event expanding over two action packed days of world class entertainment:

• Official competition: Training, Qualifying & Finals

• Official award ceremony

• Urban festival with live music & F&B

• Bespoke VIP hospitality & fan village areas

• Air, water, land displays & activations

The spectacle and consumer experience at each event is transformed in the digital space, where fans have unlimited access to all the live action, unique content and the stars themselves.

The Sport

Swoop Freestyle Jump (2 mins):

• Helicopter exit at 1500m/5000ft & instant canopy release

• Up to 1080 degree turns at 600m/2000ft(generates momentum)

• Enter course with speeds up to 150km/90mph

• Execute 2 highly technical pre-determined freestyle tricks (on water)

• Attempt to land on the floating platform

• 2 jumps per athlete in Training, Qualifying & Finals (total 6)
